I'm filled with gratitude for the opportunity to help hundreds of retirees over the past 25 years. I'm Randy Russell, insurance agent and founder of Solutions for Life, an independent insurance agency based in Salina, Kansas. My approach to planning for my client's retirement is rooted in math and science, not emotions or trends. I believe in creating customized, tax-efficient strategies for each client's unique needs.

 

My expertise extends beyond my role at Solutions for Life. I am honored to serve as the President of NAIFA-Heartland (KS) for 2025. I've been a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) since 2005, and you can catch me on KSAL radio during the Dave Ramsey show, Monday through Friday from 2pm-4pm.

 

In my work, I focus on addressing key retirement concerns by MAXIMIZING INCOME and MINIMIZING EXPENSES. I customize plans to fit individual retiree needs, emphasizing after-tax income in retirement and the importance of long-term care planning. I'm a strong advocate for Roth IRA conversions to secure tax-free retirement income, and I provide free educational resources to my clients.

 

When I'm not helping clients secure their financial future, I enjoy outdoor activities like grilling, golfing, fishing, and snorkeling. I'm an avid sports fan, particularly of baseball, football, and golf. Music is another passion of mine, with the Eagles, Billy Joel, George Strait, and Kenny Chesney among my favorite artists. Traveling is a joy, and Cozumel, Mexico holds a special place in my heart as my favorite destination.

 

I am deeply committed to my community. I'm a proud sponsor of the Salina Liberty football team and support NAIFA-Heartland's annual college scholarship for high school seniors. My unique approach includes collaborating with a team of 3 lawyers and 2 CPAs for comprehensive planning, ensuring that my clients receive the best possible advice for their retirement journey.
